After eyeing each other for months in all of the same classes at Oregon State University, Lauren and Michael finally matched on the popular dating app, Tinder. It only took a couple weeks of dating for them to know it was meant to be. They both were able to be their fun goofy selves with each other and in December of 2019, they made their relationship "official"!

They quickly realized their love for exploring together. Michael took Lauren on adventures to the Oregon coast, still one of their favorite places to spend time with each other.

In November of 2020, the couple decided to expand their duo into a trio with tiny (now large and chunky) Juniper!

To celebrate their first year of dating, Lauren and Michael traveled to Seattle. Such a fun getaway!

They decided to make the move from Corvallis to Portland, OR, renting their first apartment together!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Lauren and Michael graduated remotely from Oregon State University, both with Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science.

They knew their love of animals was just the start with Juniper. In October of 2022 they took home sweet little Maeve, who they now cannot imagine life without!!

Michael and Lauren got to ring in the new year in Lauren's home state, Arizona.

They loved exploring their home of Portland with Maeve, taking her everywhere they could! She's quite the city pup!

One of the things that they bonded over quickly was music. Because of this, they loved to go to concerts together, sharing their favorite music with each other. They got to see Lauren's favorite artist, Norah Jones!

Michael's family graciously took them to Hawaii! So many great memories and adventures.

Their friends took them to a Portland Thorns game and Michael and Lauren quickly became obsessed! They now try to go to every game that they can. Go Thorns!!

Quick, very fun trip to Las Vegas! (Lauren wants to point out that Michael lost more money than her)

They brought home their next (and last... for now) fur baby, Oakley!

With the happiest of tears, Lauren accepted Michael's proposal. The couple cannot wait to see you at their wedding May 31, 2025!! They love you all!
